Career: Lenise is currently an evening anchor for WALA Fox10 News at 4, 5 and 9. Some major news events that Lenise has covered include the tornado outbreak in northern Alabama, the BP Oil Spill, and the Billings murder case. She also has experience anchoring wall-to-wall coverage of two major storms, Hurricanes Ike and Gustav. Beyond her anchor responsibilities, Lenise also reports on the latest technology news with the Daily Dot Com reports.
Lenise began her career as an entertainment reporter in her hometown of metro-Detroit for WDIV. From there, Lenise worked at WKBN as a general-assignment reporter in Youngstown, Ohio, and then moved on to WNEM in Saginaw, MI as a health reporter/anchor. Before working her way to the Gulf Coast, Lenise spent three years at WBTV in Charlotte as a co-anchor of the morning and noon newscasts.
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Minor in Spanish from Michigan State University. Chinese Language and Cultural Training from the University of Detroit Mercy.
Honors: Lenise enjoys speaking at area schools and community organizations, always striving to make a difference in the lives of children. She has received several awards for her dedication to the community, which include being awarded the key to the city of Lenoir, NC for her service to the community. Lenise was also presented a Certificate of Appreciation from the city of Saginaw for volunteerism.

Lenise has long been involved with the American Heart Association and was recognized by the organization for her passion in educating the public on maintaining a heart-healthy lifestyle.
Family: Lenise and her husband are proud parents to their son, Sidney.
Hobbies: In her free time, Lenise loves to travel and spend quality time with family and friends, and has recently become an avid runner. She also enjoys movies, and watching basketball and football.
